CHAIR

Eamon is a solicitor and academic and the current Chair of the board. He has prior experience serving on the Boards of charitable organisations in the legal and non-legal sectors. He has been residing in Pollokshields since 2022.

VICE CHAIR

With over ten years’ experience in developing and delivering programmes on local, national and international scales, fulfilling front-line and managerial roles in major charities. This work has been focused in the refugee, migration and anti-trafficking sectors.

TREASURER

A project officer and community outreach worker at SUSTRANS. Previous to this, he founded the charity Bike for Good and worked there as a Cycling Officer for 10 years. He is an expert in community engagement and has played a key part in building strong connections with the local community.

HONORARY SECRETARY

An experienced primary school teacher who also holds a Law degree from the University of Aberdeen. She has always been keen to support the Rights of the Child throughout her 12-year career as a teacher and has worked with various groups to lead and promote UNCRC Rights Respecting initiatives within Aberdeen and Glasgow City Council schools.

TRUSTEE

Hanneline Visnes is an artist, and a lecturer in the Painting and Printmaking department at The Glasgow School of art. Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK and internationally and is represented in a number of private and public collections. She has been a EPQ trustee since 2017.

A Clinical Neuropsychologist Consultant with the Rehab Group, Ireland, Active Care Group, UK, and honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Mental Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow

Laura Griffin acts as a trusted advisor to professionals at all stages as a Strategist. Drawing from her experience in visual communication and brand, she builds effective campaigns that resonate. Some of her esteemed clients include the Scottish Government, Edrington, Natwest, AG Barr, EDF Renewables, Sailor Jerry, Virgin Money, and AXA Insurance.

A youth worker, sports coach and personal trainer who over the past decade has helped support a diverse range of BME young people in the Pollokshields and Govanhill areas
